Seven degree here in Shawano--we got an inch or two of snow last night. i'll be leaving for Chicago in a bit, where it's 15.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Snowpocalypse only began here around dawn. But it is supposed to change to rain, so I have to shovel before that happens.
About six inches of snow here. Not too bad.
Scandal: Sally is fascinating and the "you kill someone you call me first" guy is a good foil for her. Quinn has flashes of being interesting but going back to what's-his-name deflated most of the interest I had in her. I'll take Olivia's various parental dramas over Fitz drama any time. He's just, argh, he's not a good president, or politician, or boyfriend! And I haven't forgotten that what's-his-name the smooth talker is all afraid of some guy who is apparently back in the country, so that could get interesting.
Timelies all!
It snowed for a good portion of the day here yesterday, but then it turned to rain, so nothing accumulated.
Hm. I should've dug my car out yesterday when it was 30 F.
I just realized I shouldn't do laundry today, I'll need to do a load later in the week anyway. Woohoo!
Small things, small things. Finish coffee, go to TJs, pick up some party bags.
I'm going to board my plane to NYC sometime soon. Is it weird that I wish the flight was longer because I have so many books to read?
I'm still cough-medicine-dependent. Ho-merry-ho.
I am slowly recovering from the worst case of The Ick I've had in a TIME! I'd forgotten how miserable the whole fever/chills/bone aches thing is, plus splitting headache, crazy running nose/stuffed nose and ear, and hacking cough.
I was down Monday night to Friday. And of course I have 3 cold sores on my lip and a lizard nose.
I feel pretty!
