Hil, for me the voice is more the point--I want to be chit chatting with someone while my hands are doing productive things! ...so far I'm doing OK on my own but feel my energy for it ebbing as I create more and more bags of garbage that need to be hauled downstairs. But I found my Christmas ornaments! They were cleverly with the Christmas cookie cutters.

Oh, Gray's. You have got to be kidding me.
Thanks, Jess, that makes me feel a bit better. Dropped off the car this morning, signed a form, was out of there in 5 minutes.
OK, it is 2pm. I have cleaned the pantry and fridge, eaten lunch, written all my Christmas cards, and taken out some trash (a product of cleaning). I have not, however, gotten my windshield replaced (oops, kinda forgot that was on the must-to-do), showered, done more laundry, or figured out if I'm going to a friend's Christmas shindig this afternoon. (I kinda feel like I need to, but it's far. And if I go out there, I should go to the dance/lesson nearby, since I'll be there. But I'm feeling kinda tired...and maybe like I should keep going while I"m on a roll, since the roommate moves in TOMORROW)
Hec, you told us what everybody else had, but forgot to mention what your soup of choice was?
So, I lost LDB at the thrift store today. I texted Debet to tell her and she asked me which version/what artist. I didn't know the name offhand so just now, I hopped on You Tube to find the one it was (Henry Simeone Chorale, just FYI).
And my doing so booted Joe out of the game while he was in the kitchen, innocently making dinner.
So, I'm idling shopping for briefcases (in case I decide I need to have one on hand to fill with tacos, as one does) and all the "People who bought this also bought" links are for stuff emblazoned with the Masonic compass thingy. Huh.
Good luck with the new roommate, meara! And that sounds like you got tons done already.

Oooh, I lost in the worst way. My coworker was giving me a lift and she went, "Hey, listen to this great song." and then BLASTED the Beiber version and laughed. She didn't even know about the LDB game, she was just being a jerk.
Ugh, stupid once-a-year events. Allen Leech was v. charming, Sue, but we did not hang out. Now I have a hour to wait before my concert, and am exhausted! Oh well.
Tonight I am going to my 30th HS reunion. Realized this am I'm doing this all wrong. I didn't manage to get my hair colored beforehand. Didn't get a manicure. Didn't buy cute new clothes. Evidently I'm not trying to impress anyone anymore. I can't tell if that's progress, or just giving up.
