Tomorrow night is my stupid work Christmas Party and I do not even want to go, so why am I so bummed out and swarmed with body image demons because I do not have a date (or even someone I could ask)?
I think that might be the real reason - there is not even a male friend I could ask to go with me as a joke. I have no hang out with me male friends. And no prospects. and I am old, and unattractive and and and.

Although I am currently concerned about what I am going to wear to volunteer for the former-work event tomorrow, which is double-stupid.
In ridiculous news, it occurs to me that "home alone" is a perfectly good alibi for people such as myself who are always on the internet. There was no time to commit the crime in between my facebook comments!

Tonight's thrill ride was doing laundry. With no witchy-cauldron toilet action. WOOHOO CLEAR LINES!

Everybody had soup for dinner tonight. Because my family is the way it is, everybody had a different soup.

Emmett: Beef stock, fusilli and meatballs.

Well shit. Not only did the shooter live near CJs high school (which is only two blocks from where we live) both CJ and I have FB mutual friends with the kid. As scary as it all is, it could have been so much worse. Police around here train on active shooter situations, including training in the local high schools.

She is, though she eats fish. There's a great vegetarian roasted onion stock from Pacific Soups. Extremely rich and flavorful despite no beef stock.
Mushroom stock would also work well for a vegematarian onion soup, I bet!
Have you ever had the mushroom soup at the market? It's good. A little salty for my taste, but oh so savory.
Dear gods people, I'm quite the introvert, but I am staaarved for human interaction after this week. I've been so damned chatty at the pool, I'm getting home 15-30 minutes later (and it isn't swim time) and I was actually sad when I heard back that all my usual marketing neighbors are gone/have other obligations. And my email replies are getting longer and longer, as are fb ones.
Apologies if you get textually barfed on on account of my too many snow, sick, mental-health and plumbing days. Yikes.
