this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You are evil. EVIL.

I almost posted about it last week but you were having a rough day so I held off. For reals.

Aww, thanks! You are less evil!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My dad was dehydrated and had high sodium. So no stroke. He's going back to the nursing home where he was recovering from the surgery two weeks ago.

No stroke is good!

Some of my coworkers nearby are chatting about a coworker who is 31 because they're surprised by how old she is. I'm tactfully not butting in and explaining that I am older than that.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

GO TEAM NO STROKE!

I'm hungry and have to pee and am still waiting on the plumber (still within the time slot.) Soon as he gets here and I get all the explainy bits out, I'm going next door to use the facilities and do the morning's dishes.

And drop off some cookies.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

My dad was dehydrated and had high sodium. So no stroke.

Very good news! That happened to my dad over the summer -- he was severely dehydrated and his sodium was ridiculously high, and his symptoms were similar to a stroke (though he had no facial droop or one-sided weakness). This is much easier to set right.

I'm glad your dad is ok, and sorry about the car.
