"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

msbelle,

I thought hospices take patients ASAP? Is that not right?

I'm sorry about all of this.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

the hospice needs to evaluate. There is some rule about them coming in to evaluate the same day there has been home healthcare evaluations. Another fun thing? when they do switch from HHC to Hospice, HHC has to take out their wheelchair and hospital bed and then Hospice brings in their bed and chair.

Because books.

The regulations are so ridiculous. I hope they can get your grandmother settled comfortably as soon as possible. Coping~ma for all of you, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All the insurance rules about who covers what and when are ridiculous.

I am taking a break from my new job. It is exhausting! Also, my back is to the door, which I do not like at all. And means my computer screen is visible to everyone, which is also maybe not so hot. I'm going to see if I can move stuff around.

Oh, new job! I forgot about that, Jesse. Is it good exhausting, at least?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aw msbelle, I'm so sorry.

I am more worried about my mom and aunt right now. Hoping they take a second or two to relax and keep things in perspective.

ION, looks like I may have to work Sat AND Sun. I asked boss for tomorrow off if that is the case. He is thinking about it.

Not a haiku, but my kids and I have been singing What Does The Spleen Do? for 2 days now: [link]

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

What Does The Spleen Do?

In my head, it's the same tune as "What Does the Fox Say?"

ION, you guys, my job is so gross sometimes. I'm editing an article about lesions of the butt. Well, the butthole. And THERE ARE PICTURES.

It's like Goatse, only clinical. WHY WHY WHY.
