I cooked a 17lb turkey for five last night. Lots of leftovers!

Since it is so horribly cold right now, I'm taking advantage of the walking desks in our office. Typing while walking is not a skill I've fully developed yet.

I've never heard of a walking desk before but I am now picturing a bunch of people wandering down corridors pushing along a raised desk with a laptop opened in front of them, bumping into each other and the walls.

It is in fact a treadmill desk, but I prefer the mental image of bumper desks much more than the 2.5 mph reality.

I am so cold! Wearing jeans and fleece-lined leggings in my house. I think the problem is that my feet are cold and that's affecting the whole situation. But the slippers that I've loved for the last few years have finally worn out and I haven't found any suitable replacements.

I got home a few hours ago, and I've been under a heated blanket for most of the time since then, and I'm still cold. Might need to add another layer of clothing. I'm in thermal pajamas and fuzzy socks right now.
