All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I will trust your note. One might think the Castle page on the ABC website would have that sort of information. Alas.

So I bought a pair of pants from Woman Within. Boy, if this is the length for Petite, I'd hate to see the regular length. But that's nothing a bit of hemming won't fix, and pants hemming is easy. They're wide leg, and I've been used to boot cut. But, wow, my fat calves are so very happy not being constricted. I just have to get used to cloth swishing. And to a higher waist, to fight the bagginess. I measured carefully before choosing the size, but until you try things on you never know how they're cut. I really needed a pair of slacks, so I'll cope with baggy. It's not like people can't tell I'm fat.

I have been reminded this week that Cuddl Duds are made for short limbed people. I'm going to have to find something longer if the winter is going to stay like this.

Looks like the predicted 3 am snow didn't happen. But I remember what happened Sunday when I hopped in the shower thinking we might get off ok.

We are getting a truly awesome orange & purple sunrise.

We have snow, again, and after doing some complicated calculation before coffee, I am hoping that the earlier bus will get me to work on time, or close to it.

Aaand work is closed (which I discovered at 6:30 as I was walking out the door, just as the snow started.) Bonus, we might not get paid because my contractor is a cheapskate asshole.

So I got the laptop from work. Now to see if it will actually play nice from home. Supposedly, they fixed my VPN. I don't believe them.

Finding out work is closed as you leave the house is still better than finding out when you get there (and face a dubious weather drive home).

I wish I had a job not to go to. Maybe next year I will!

Well, I drove in just as the snow started, got the laptop and headed home. Took me all of 15 minutes. In inside pants now.

I really, really, really want to badmouth my paycheck provider. Especially since they are a significant federal contractor. They should honor the contract they are paid for.

I really, really wish we'd been bought out in the last tsuri.

At least you are home safe, sara.

I am up and pool-bound, but still cold. I did not sleep well last night, which sucks because I had been sleeping really well since September. There is something awful about waking up 4 or 5 times a night.
