I feel like we're poster children for needing bubblewrap. Always.

Uh huh. Even the muscle on the inside of my thigh is sore. And that ain't where the bruise is. Maybe the fall, though wrong side of the body.

Maybe we just need rubber rooms.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, that would totally work for a cold. When we were in NOLA a bartender friend of Tom's gave us some she had made with like three whiskies and four types of cinnamon. Fab.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Is it awful that I've skipped showering today so I could continue wearing my comfiest pullover shirt and warmest wool socks from yesterday?

Not awful at all. Super rational, even.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, bless you, Darren Sproles, you tiny tiny man.

Yay msbelle was super helpful, and I now have an ENORMOUS pile of books I am getting rid of (I still have shelves and shelves of books I am NOT getting rid of, and a couple of "I need to at least start to re-read this book to remember if I want to keep it" shelves, but still.

...now I just have the NEW onerous task of "getting all those books out of the house now that they've been separated". ...uh oh.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

hhrrrmmpph. work is not responding to my inquiry about tomorrow. All the schools in the area are cancelled. Probably half of the ice melted on the roads today, but the water just pooled in intersections and now all of that will freeze into slick non-slush ice. No way we need to send semi-truck out in that.

Hahaha - one of the Panthers went to Hogwarts...

I feel like I've done very little today, but my laundry is in good shape (clean laundry is not put away but that is not worrying me), the dish situation could be worse, and I've got a week's worth of meals in the fridge and freezer. Not too shabby.

meara did an AWESOME job of culling. She was inspirational. I am now packing two packages to mail. If work gets called off or even gets decided to "work from home" I am going to list things on ebay like a mad woman.

I love seeing people trying to tackle Jimmy Graham.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Maybe we just need rubber rooms.

It's a solid theory. I'd try it.
