I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I realize that it's not fair to judge this for not being the movie, but I don't care. This song isn't the same without them traipsing through Salzburg.

Because books.

She's just so very much not Julie Edwards.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Let alone Julie Andrews?

eta: Not even airing yet on this coast, but I wanted to join the fun.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't think I've ever seen The Sound of Music. Well, I'm not going to start now.

Wow, I can't quite wrap my mind around this. They re-broadcast it every year, around Easter, when I was a kid. And we watched it every year. My loveissopure I'd say you MUST watch it, but I'd be afraid it's one of those things where age on first exposure matters (see also Xanadu, which I love, completely unironically, because the first time I saw it I was 8 or 9 and it was SO COOL). So, um, that is to say, um, watch it if you want to. Or don't. I'm not the boss of you. :)

Amy, I'm sure she knows you still love her. :)

Ok, it's in my Netflix queue. I should get to it in the next 10 years or so. Actually, I imagine my rate of progress through my Netflix queue will increase once I finish watching All the Kurosawa, but it will still be a while...

ETA: Xanadu I saw several times in the theater, although probably not since.
