Now THAT'S how I'd like to fight a cold!

I had to swim this afternoon because the lifeguard didn't show up this morning. I hate when I get up at 4:30 AM to get to the pool only to have it not open in time for me to swim. The way my life is scheduled is that I can't wait around for 15 minutes. I have an hour to get to the pool, swim, shower, dress, return home, perhaps with coffee or iced tea. So to shave off time waiting for the lifeguard fucks up my schedule.

My swim spoiler is barfing/pooping kids. And I swim during lessons, so the start of every session is a crapshoot. Perhaps literally.

So, if you were going to rank West Wing characters from Season 1, from most idealistic to most pragmatic, how would you rank them? My ends of the spectrum are Sam on the idealist end and Mandy on the most pragmatic.

Debet, I think that kid is going to have it rough enough with a mom like that as it is... I say you do him a solid and let him have a couple of years where his mother thinks he can't mess with her. He'll need it.
