Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But Peter Davison himself was a decade younger than any other Doctor from the original series when he took the mantle

And now that's precedent. There are only 12 of them. One guy being 30 isn't lost in the hubbub. Lost in the there-was-Who-before-2005-why-do-they-start-numbering-at-nine? I can see that.

I thought I read somewhere that it was cannon the the Doctor got younger with each regeneration

The third Doctor was older than the second, so if it was canon, it wasn't canon for long.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I remember the Master being offered a new regeneration cycle in The Five Doctors, so apparently the limits are (or rather, were) imposed by the Time Lords rather than inherent in the regeneration process itself.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm watching the Lolla webcast again and the bass player for The Cure has a "The angels have the police box" sticker on his bass.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Ooh, I've loved Capaldi since Local Hero. Good choice.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Twelve. Which would technically mean thirteen doctors, so I guess they have one left up their sleeve.

or they could have a female doctor and say that they can only have 12/13 in a row of the same gender.

I think that it would be hysterical if they cast a female redhead, and had her make a comment along the lines of "I'm finally ginger, but now I'm a Time Lady!" And I would die happy if it was SWINTON.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Tilda Swinton as Doctor would be too awesome for BBC. Like that is BBC drop the mic moment.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Tilda Swinton as Doctor would be too awesome for BBC. Like that is BBC drop the mic moment.

Travelling time and space with her faithful companion - David Bowie.

I might have to start watching if it were the SWINTON /Bowie show.

I just spent half an hour or so triaging my work email so be I was out all last week and didn't want to face it in the morning. Sigh. Drama while I was gone making my wrinkle my nose at some BS I got. Ugh.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I f I receive a (valid) email from eBay containing a link to follow because I've made a request to retrieve a forgotten password, but I made no request, should I worry?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I would go to ebay (not follow the link in the email) and login and change your password.
