I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That bag is hilarious, but I would be afraid people would want to talk to me about it.

I wonder where I stashed my tree. I don't think I've put one up since I got Rosie & Gilda. It's only 3' tall and doesn't have a very sturdy base. I do kind of miss all my penguin ornaments though. Maybe I'll give it a shot this weekend.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I need to start decorating tomorrow. I had planned on doing it today but laziness and date nervousness took over.

The date was nice. Lots of taking, no awkwardness there. But no spark. I knew it for sure when we were saying goodbye and my brain was hoping he wouldn't try for a kiss. I think he'd be a great friend. I just need to find a way to communicate that.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Awesome fail, parents of belle, awesome fail.

Tell him you had fun, look forward to whatever (friends, local stuff, averting the apocalypse) but weren't sensing a love match, Suzi?

I'm only good at this when uninvolved.

I donated or ditched my holiday stuff. Mostly I want solar glow lighting. But not holiday stuff. Just lights that suck up up the sun and barf light at night in a lovely pattern.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Indoor northern lights, Cass? Pretty!

He called from his room, adorably woozy and talkative. The surgeon was supposed to give me details, but he never called. H solemnly promised retribution. He's doing well, and feeling *no* pain right now. Tomorrow, well, we'll see.

Yes!

But garden solar lighting will do. Or would have before I considered personal northern lights. Now I want those!

Glad B is recovering. Woozy and talkative is an amusing picture so long as he is a good patient and heals up.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Much recovery~ma to H, Beverly.

I spent the morning packing up my sister's office, then grading all afternoon, then cooking turkey enchiladas for dinner, and now grading again before bed. Gah!

Oh, and nice hair, Consuela. It really is such a striking color.

Looks good, 'suela!

I think Pumpkin spent the whole night sleeping in my dirty laundry. I know Loki slept on my head. Certainly I was attacked frequently through the shower curtain this morning.I guess they missed me.

Got to market (I might branch out and get kale! Blame K.) get cash, gas, haircut, shopping (target the weekend after TG, oh god) and send my brother some ideas for xmas or else he'll donate to Palin's speaking tour (this is how he motivates us.)

And figure out which bills are due. Almost missed a big one last night, uhg.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!
