There is a guy holed up in a verizon near my house, with a gun. SWAT team is in place which has effectively shut down one of two major thoroughfares. Sigh. This won't end well.

He's been in there for about 3 hours now. Lots of news helicopters overhead. The LA Sheriff's Department is two blocks or so away from where he is.
