You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

Compassionately intolerant

Tested the brown butter salted caramel snickerdoodles in the meanwhile and holy cow!

Oh. my. lord. I'm nearly fainting with desire right now. ::flail::

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I didn't get any stuffing, but I have 3/4s of the apple pie left, which is fine by me....

hip deep in pie

Hey is there anyone who can skype with me for a minute or two so I can test this new headset? I've done a test call, but I want to interact before the big interview. I'm sue_oz on Skype.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I took home some leftover key lime pie and mashed potatoes and turkey. Lunch tomorrow!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And I'm home, cats and dog are fed, I'm still stuffed from the big meal with my folks. But severely lacking in leftovers, which is not bad, necessarily, just peculiar.

Sorry about the unexpected and unwanted weight loss, ita. That's distressing, even if the low-gly accounts for it.

What happened with the comet? I had an alert come to my phone but I didn't manage to figure out what it was alerting me to...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I skipped the ritual sacrifice AND the pie today. I did however make a tasty (and very filling) butternut squash soup and had some cake. And I can report that the Angry Orchard Cinnful Apple hard cider is quite good.

I did not intend to lose an ounce of that weight (two dress sizes). I'm not sure precisely what caused the weight loss, in the sense that I don't know when it intends to stop (clearly low gly is the trigger). Yay shopping in my closet, but I'm honestly uncomfortable with the whole thing. I'm hoping it stops here, but how can I tell?

When I realized dairy wasn't doing me any favors and cut way back I unexpectedly started dropping weight. It gradually leveled off in slightly less than a year. I'm still working on building a wardrobe that fits though.

Have you noticed your energy levels change? I think I would only be concerned if your energy level dropped.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I asked a coworker yesterday if she had good plans for today, and she said no, that she was going to hang around and maybe see a movie. I said those sound like great plans! I think my wish for the world is that everyone does exactly what they want to on a holiday.

Jessica, glad you are okay after something that sounds exhausting and terrifying.

Twins are in bed before 7:00. All non-overnight guests left by 5:00, which is awesome as I am exhausted. We had two waves of guests and our dinner was only 6, including Grace. I'm overstuffed and ready to hibernate.

I am jealous of the good stuffing. The people who hosted where I went had good pie, but the stuffing was inedible. And the sweet potatoes were like...flavored with whole coriander seeds? Whatever the seeds are that you can eat as you leave an Indian restaurant. Which was not a flavor I appreciate with my mashed sweet potatoes. The turkey and cranberry and all that was good. But stuffing is kinda my favorite part. Oh well.

That's a lot of slides, Tom, but it would be neat if you could digitize them. I did a few of the old family photos, but not as many as I should. Certainly not that many!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

happy to report that the bourbon pecan pie is yum. not the best pecan pie in the world, but not the worst I have had, so for a first try, I am happy.
