There are so many schools in Philly! And even out here in the suburbs.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I was on the southbound train with some of you -- I'd like to think that I waved merrily at the northbound as it passed, but in reality, I was trying to keep my balance in the middle of an aisle (or possibly even in the space between cars --how on earth was THAT safe?!) Providence - White Plains for the first couple of years, PVD - PHL at the end. Good times, in a way that can only be "good" in retrospect or with the loose joints of a sleep-deprived 20-year-old.
I was a no-social-life-having heterosexual woman attending a women's college, so I was mostly excited about all the boys on the trains. I usually didn't get a seat until NYC.
Oh yeah, never a seat until NYC. The Kids Today don't know how good they have it, with the lack of overselling trains!
This just caused me to look at the Mega bus- I could take the bus to NY, get there at 1, buy fabric, and come back at 5 for very little money. Of course it is 14 hours of travel time to spend 2 hours shopping!
JetBlue between JFK and ROC is actually pretty cheap.
Republic of China?
Rest of Canada? (That's an actual thing in Quebec. )
They have gone up- The Mega bus is about $40 and drops off within walking distance of the garment district. The plane is about $350, and then the cab to and from the airport.
ROC is the Rochester (NY) Airport code. I used to be able to get a round trip to NY for $99, but no longer...
I'm seeing prices of about $77, each way.
ROC = Rochester International Airport.
