We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My sister gets to see POTUS today! I said, "Like, meet him, or be in the same room with him and a thousand other people?"

She said it was the latter. Pity.

I have a phone interview with a recruiter at 1 PM board time. Wish me job-ma!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Consuela! You too, Sue!

As I said to a friend last night, New jobs all around!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

JOB-ma to Sue and Consuela.

I am almost through with task #1. YAY! Just in time for lunch. I will go get the mail and get my iTouch and check in with nanny McPhee. Then return and I hope, take care of 1 set of Toll Tags so I can send them off to another office. That would be happiest of happy (for terms of happy that pertain to work life and therefore never actually even reach the real life happy scale).

Woot woot -- I just called the cable company and the gas/electric and they were not that onerous! The key phrase to cancel the cable completely was "I'm moving in with someone who already has service." Because when I opened with, "I want to cancel my service," he came back with, "You want to make some changes?" NO, DUDE. I SAID CANCEL.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jesse,

I was SO (so, so So) ticked off with Time Warner that not only did I order DirectTV, but since they did not pick up the phone for 1 hr when I called to cancel, I loaded up the DVRs and remotes and took them to the local TWC office and canceled onSITE.

I am thinking this will be my strategy from now on.

Ha! I really hate Time Warner. I've been less cranky with Comcast, even though my actual service has been fairly spotty.

They pay me in WOIMS

There are rumors that Comcast wants to buy out Time Warner, possibly along with Charter.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Because you might as well gather all of the suckitude into one giant ball of suck.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And the thing what was worrying at me today has been put off until...sometime next week. THAT HELPS.

Biofeedback time.

I can't find enough agreement that spelt flour is low-gly to make me comfortable. The chocolate chip cookies don't give me a migraine, so that's good, but I also don't eat a whole one in less than an hour.

I think I will see if I can make chocolate chip oat flour cookies. That is tasty plus tasty.
