Mal: You are very much lacking in imagination. Zoe: I imagine that's so, sir.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, Consuela, This is the kind of taking-care-of-your-parents shit no one needs.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

more than one person states strongly that men shouldn't wear black shoes (or belt) with blue jeans. I had never even heard of that. Is that supposed to extend to extremely rule-following women as well?

I hope not, as I have black shoes and sneakers, and I'm not gonna wear sneakers with my jeans all the time.

Ann, that's a ferret.

That's news to me, ita. The only rule I have with blue jeans is, don't wear a shirt of the same color.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have no rules whatsoever for blue jeans. Except not taking them off in public.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The only rule I have with blue jeans is, don't wear a shirt of the same color.

As in denim, or the same shade in any fabric?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I decided to take half a sick day when I started feeling bad at the office, so now I am home watching TV. Yay.

I was blissfully unaware of any shoe/blue jeans rules. Jeans go with everything!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jeans go with everything!

Basically my feeling.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm pretty sure Clinton and Stacy would classify jeans as a neutral.

I can't decide if I'm sick or just sleep-deprived.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The good news is that going back to bed would help either way?

I have really got to go to bed early tonight -- I said I'd come in early for an event tomorrow, because I am ridiculous.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Black dress shoes can look a bit funny with bluejeans, but I don't think the same is true of sneakers. Certainly not those Converse ones with the white trim.
