Timelies all!
The amount of annual leave I can roll over is more than I earn in a year. Unless I take a lot less vacation time than I currently do, use-it-or-lose-it won't be an issue for me. (There is no limit on how much sick leave can be rolled over, so I have an absurd amount of that.)
God, a UGA student was found murdered at the end of the street we used to live on in Athens. I know exactly where the culvert in the photo is and have driven by it a zillion times. [link]
You know, I lived in Athens for 3 years, and we moved there right after Eve Carson was killed at UNC (her parents lived on our street and her mom walked her dog by our house every day), and then there was the murder-suicide at the theater a few blocks away (I knew the wife of one of the victims and my boss was close friends with them all), and then my coworker was killed by a pack of feral dogs while out walking her dog. WTF, Athens Georgia?

So, as I was walking to my car after work I remembered ita deciding to return the sexy kettlebell and that reminded how years ago when I joined Linda Evans's gym because they had a location nearish to my house. During the whole signing up process, one of the questions was why I wanted to join a gym and I had this whole long thoughtful answer about how I played a lot of sports in high school but then I didn't and I missed what I could do when I was more fit, blah blah blah and she listens to all that and then says "and of course we all want to look good." I kind of wish I'd bailed at that point, but I didn't.

This was my colour "crime" of the day. I'm beginning to like that green and that purple together more and more. I don't have many pieces of that green, but I'm always rolling in purple.

Went to the end of my street and watched another rocket launch from Wallops, with neighbor & family. I'm always surprised at how impressive it is- all the stages, the color, etc.
