Bust on bookshelves. Had a near-miss at Pier 1, but inattentive sales people tipped my ambivalence to the negative. I might try the other one tomorrow. Problem is I want more of what I already have, and those are at least a decade old and not found anymore. Frustrating.
I got a new chair cover at IKEA, but it occurs to me I can't put it on without being home to police Loki, and since I'll be gone a week soon.... It did make me want to get another of these chairs for the bedroom, so maybe I'll do that after the holidays...after I check to see if they'll fit in my new car!
And, the Google seems to suggest no on tipping, maybe a fiver here and there and something at Xmas.

I had a need for a shoe that I didn't know how to satisfy. I don't like wearing shoes with no socks or hose, only sandals. But sometimes, shoes, you know? You're wearing a dress and you want to be a little less casual than sandals and the tights free ballet flats have just not been...nope, not comfortable. Found these on sale, and that's great! Not something I need to wear to work (always socks or hose there), and it's like bonus Mary Janes.

without the zipper, just stretch pull on. It was my one true boot. I have it in black with the zipper from a year or two ago and the zipper folds at my ankle and rubs and hurts. I want them in brown this year, but way.
See, I feel the opposite, Zen! If I hire someone who owns their own cleaning service, then yeah, they should just charge what they want to make, and I don't see why I'd tip them. But a service, the people working only get part of what I'm paying, so...

did not manage the cookie dough. Will have to do that and bake them tomorrow. Should be easy since I will be home with no plans by noon.
How would you accessorise this dress? Brightly coloured shoes? Or jacket/cardigan? Right now doesn't seem to be a time to wear that without contrasting colour.
