I went to my twice-postponed mammography, which they schedule for 6 in the evening. The drive through rush-hour traffic was more stressful than the actual procedure.
The stickers they use on your skin are pastel-colored with little flowers on them. I suppose I should be grateful that some idealistic bureaucrat tried to make the process nicer, but honestly heating the clamp would have done more for my comfort.

It is 6:45pm, and the postal truck has JUST gone down one side of our block. I am not impressed with our new postal guy.

Tim is having a gum graft procedure Friday, and although the dentist told him that there should be no pain, other than feeling like a pizza burn on the roof of the mouth (that's where the graft is taken from),

Wow. I'm staying at a hotel that's pretty new (just opened a couple weeks ago, wasn't in my rental car's GPS!) and they gave me a huge suite (2 bedroom 2 bathroom plus a living room with a dining nook!) with a ginormous tv. Holy crap, wish I'd be here more than the next 10 hours. Oh well.
