Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Now that I know anxiety is a symptom of a food allergy thanks to my mushroom misadventures

Wait, what? It is? Hell, maybe I'm allergic to ALL food, considering I'm anxious about 100% of the time.

So far my lunch is animal crackers. Which I had to confiscate from the cat who was standing on the table with her head in the bag scooping them out. Most landing on the floor where her accomplice awaited to Hoover them up.

I needed that laugh.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I had homemade chili, yogurt, and an apple for lunch. It was perfect, as today is windy, gray, with a cold rain forecast for the evening. No idea what I'll have for dinner.

I had Noodles and Co, but I'm kinda wondering where to eat dinner, since I have to drive across Iowa tonight.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

HOLY CRAP, Google's logo today is a birthday cake that links to my G+ profile.

I am both delighted and a little terrified.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got myself out of the house, and checked out a local tire place, where the owner was very nice. He has to order the tires, though, so they don't get in until maybe 10:30 tomorrow.

After, since I was out that way anyway, I went to Penzey's Spices and picked up some Berbere powder which should add considerable ZING to my homemade Lamb Helper. Then, TJ's for general purpose Stuff. They now have a house-brand cultured coconut-milk "yogurt" so I'm giving them a try, since it's $0.50 less than the comparable So Delicious.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Wait, what? It is? Hell, maybe I'm allergic to ALL food, considering I'm anxious about 100% of the time.

It can be a symptom of a severe allergic reaction. It took me a really long time to figure out that I was having anxiety attacks and other weird reactions not long after eating. Eventually I narrowed it down to mushrooms, and now I don't feel like I'm going to die after I eat lunch. Progress!

True food allergies are less common than food intolerance, so... that seems unlikely?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Penzey's in Arlington? I totally just drove by there. We are always circling each other!

Interesting, shrift! Now I'll be paying more attention to when I get anxiety attacks and if some food item might be triggering it.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Now that I know anxiety is a symptom of a food allergy thanks to my mushroom misadventures, I probably should keep a food diary. Except that seems like a lot of work. Why can't I have a JARVIS?

loseit.com is pretty useable, I find (you can scan barcodes!). Although keeping a food diary makes me super-squirrely about food, it has been helpful.
