Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Dana. And now I know where to look for the unfortunate next time.

Do I have to get dressed even before I shower and go buy blueberries because I took the last of mine to work yesterday and forgot to refill? I fucking fear I do...they better have them.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Bonne anniversaire Jessica!

Happy Anniversay sj and Teacup Guy!

Happy moving Jesse!

Nothing ~ma to Sox

GAH. You would think that the one piece of poetry everyone at the military academies reads, at least once, would be "In Flanders Field".

Isn't there a Peanuts special with Charlie Brown reading it? because that is pretty much how I know it. Also, I really prefered the old crepe paper poppies to the new ones.

Common colds are common-adults get 1-3 per year.

Yes, I was just at Ralph's. Yes, they had blueberries. No, they didn't have good plain yoghurt or the right granola. This is one big reason I hate shopping. Why can't we have complete stores like we have complete proteins???

Happy birthday, Jess! Happy marriage, sj!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, Jessica! Happy anniversary sj & TCG!

And Jesse, sending much ~ma to you and your mother. It's a hard transition, no doubt, but at some point it becomes necessary. I hope you find a good place, one that meets both nursing and social needs.

hip deep in pie

Happy Birthday Jessica! Happy Anniversary SJ!

Sigh. The lump was nothing, but Clio did have full anal sacs, an ear infection and fleas. I am the worst cat owner ever.

God, I hate battling fleas.

Happy birthday Jessica! Happy anniversary sj!

And good luck, Jesse. I hope it's not too stressful, and I agree that many of the nursing homes/care facilities are very nice. As an aside, check out ProPublica's database of nursing home reports: they did a big project several years ago to compile state reporting data on SNFs. That might help to distinguish between the nice-looking ones and the ones which are actually good.

Common colds are common-adults get 1-3 per year.

And yet I haven't had one for a couple of years. Ever since the business with my folks (and the job) ramped up into Completely Stressful, I stopped getting colds. The only real sickness I've had recently was the vertigo last summer, and the ongoing allergies.

I shouldn't complain, but I worry that the cold is just holding off and it's going to wallop me but good--as soon as I get a new job, probably.
