Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I will actually be able to move!

...and will try not to update you people on each minor step.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

...and will try not to update you people on each minor step.

What will we do for fun?!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

No worries there, Jesse. There are some days where I would have a hard time motivating to do ANYTHING if it weren't for all y'all. It's one of our better functions: validating the mundane for each other so we actually get shit done.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You know we are interested in your boxes of boxes. I hope you get flocks. From down by the docks?

I really hope this coconut flax bread turns out well. It smells incredibly good baking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You know, this gluten-free lactose-free low glycemic peanut butter brownie recipe might just be my favourite ever. I don't know who I'm becoming, but that shit is OFF THE HOOK.

There's a woman at work who's highly surprised that I can bake well, and that I love pink. She's also surprised I do the martial arts. She calls me a massive contradiction, but I can't help but wonder what she's based her her initial image on other than my short hair. Still, the brownies knocked her socks off, so she'll have to adjust. (I already told her her mind was the problem)

I want that recipe, ita. Sounds delicious!

I've learned that crowing about triumphing over the mundane is an integral part of adulthood. Because sometimes, there is just so goddamn much mundane, a handful of triumphs is true accomplishment.

Good call, seriously.

ita, there's a woman who posts a lot of recipes on the Hairpin that are often baked goods based on chickpeas -- would those work for you?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I hope one contains a fox.

In socks.

Oooh. Can you share the recipe?

Because sometimes, there is just so goddamn much mundane, a handful of triumphs is true accomplishment.

And sometimes the triumph is simply not falling flat on your face because you tripped on the all the mundane cluttering up your life.

Peanut butter brownies sound delicious. I also would like the recipe although I still haven't managed to make the apple cake yet.
