You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a pumpkin bread in the oven and need to get in the shower so I'm ready to have coffee with a friend.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{Burrell}}

Did the e-Cart option for grocery shopping, which worked out well, so that's done. Now my car is making a funny noise. It sounds tire or wheel related but I can't see anything, I guess I will need to take it in somewhere and get it looked at. Tomorrow after work will have to be soon enough for that.

This is why I put "have a cup of tea" on my To Do List.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Eat a sugary and also artificially sweetened muffin, § ita § ?

And they were wearing high heels!!! :collapses in sobs:

It's remarkable how little "fashion" I see in my normal home -> office little life. I really wanted to take pictures of many of the women there--I'd have settled for their shoes--they were a mix of fascinating, covetable (what's the noun for that?), and vicariously painful (still can't push off the right foot, so heels, no). And skirts! Short! With bare legs! I felt I was looking up so much jailbait crotch.

I wouldn't have been the only photographer--I saw a paparazzo (I just realise I was reading a story this morning that pluralised it to paparazzos--that can't happen often...) around the corner when I was leaving, not that I have any idea who that massive lens was for. I do not know what makes that Urth such a draw, but the entire TMZ tour bus waved on their way by too (I wonder if they report to paps for further deets, if there's stuff they can't grab as they drive by...). Still my favourite though. One of the few LA zoos I can afford and get through the door of.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I share your fascination with that particular Urth, ita.

Obit is written, or at least drafted. Check.

I've been wanting to bake that apple pie cake, and I've bought the apples, but not sure I have the time to assemble and bake it. Hrm. But if I did, there'd be cake. And pie. That's a big motivator.

What's with the crazy double post?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's just the peeling that takes the time, aside from baking (obviously). Are there any potential helpers around?

Burrell, as soon as I get my feet more under me again, low gly apple pie is coming your way--I didn't forget, and the apples are quite balefully reproaching me, even around the corner from the kitchen.

Instead spent the hour revising the obit. That's why I don't like writing obits.

I'm sorry you have to do it, Burrell.
