Ah ha ha -- I just learned that many of our top people are going to be on a cruise ("working") for most of December. Here's hoping someone is authorized to sign off on all the year-end things we'll need from them!

So tonight walking across the field in the dark after my swim, a 6 ft tree limb came floating toward me, parallel to the ground, about 3 ft up.

My brain stuttered to a halt, completely confused.

...it was a large dark colored dog proudly carrying his really big stick.

I started laughing hysterically once I figured it out, and the owner materialized as I was bent over, catching my breath. Once I explained, he had a major gigglefit too.
