We have nothing to vote on today. Feh.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
ok vote411.org is the best voting helper ever. My whole ballot is propositions and there is no way I would have understood them in the booth.
There were only two races on my ballot this morning. One of them, though, was a tea party lunatic running for mayor, so I feel my civic duty was well covered.
I can't decide where to put this one, but I think DH's latest TwoP gallery will be of interest to several Buffistas.
Aw, good times.
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THOR2.
I WISH I COULD GO SEE THOR2 WITH JESSE!!!
ME TOO!!!
I got nothing to vote on, which makes me feel less startled by the day. I saw on my calendar that it was election day, but my mail...not telling me much. Did not know/remember vote411.org. Bookmarked.
In my district, most of the "real" voting happens in the primaries, and so most of my preferred candidates are not on the ballot. Maybe I'll vote Socialist for Brooklyn borough president.
I voted! And now I am doing deeply onerous tasks, like printing out health care powers of attorney that we need to sign and have notarized and such. And I am eating Halloween candy. Who the fuck bought all these Whoppers?
I accidentally left my ballot on the kitchen counter when I left on this trip. Oops. So I dot get to vote for the socialist for city council, or for the mayor over the gay state senator (but then, I'm not actually against him, so who cares?)
