Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like our taglines next to each other, msbelle.

Good luck with clearing your desk!

I am mixing prints with abandon today - plaid skirt, striped shirt and a cardigan with big flowers. It's a more subtle ensemble than it sounds.

A coworker who never calls in sick has called in sick with a nasty cold and now I'm paranoid that this lingering off-ness is not just from the whiplash of the weather change and mucking about with leaves the other night.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

at this point my tagline should be because beer, yum Oktoberfest and fall specials.

hwæt

As a city employee, I get the day off of work today! Be jealous of me! I’m going to go and vote, just as soon as I finish another cup of tea.

not your mom's socks.

Scola, you could come to the reading tonight! Or, not! Either way I wave in your direction.

I can't figure out if I am supposed to vote today, and if so, on what. I guess I will swing by City Hall after work and see what's going on.

I need to look up the items on the ballot. There are State Constitutions things that I am sure are too confusing to really understand in the voting booth.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I highly recommend vote411 - you can look at all the races and propositions in your area and print out a ballot of how you want to vote: [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My students have a midterm today, which means the only way I could vote would be to wake up really early, and I didn't feel like doing that for a ballot that's almost entirely uncontested local races.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I get to do crazy proportional representation voting for the one and only time today! I probably won't rank all 25 candidates for City Council, but I'll do a bunch of them. And I only have a recommendation on one person running for School Committee, so I may just vote for her and leave it at that.
