We always fear for kids taking a tumble on our stairs (of course, they always trip on the 1" lip to the porch, not the wicked steep steps) and tonight Anna and I, perhaps fueled by alcohol and competitive spirit emboldened by the crazy cobweb graveyard with spooky flickering lights and a smoke machine(!), mused about using hamster habit-trails to create a spirally candy delivery device.
Like I said, alcohol.
It's nice enough that I decided to sit outside and watch the kidlings. There's been a lot of
"There's a WITCH over there!"
I'm giving out candy by the handful when they do come by. I think there aren't a lot of candy houses on my street but there's a whole cluster right by me, so I'm hearing the kids as they hit up 4 houses in a row.
Glad you have the internet, Burrell.
We need to know the plural of sparkly pink Batman. This is a good world.
7:25 here. No kid so far.
Jilli, nothing was better than you sitting on our porch and scaring away the teenagers on Halloween.
Oh, my. I just got the most adorable little Captain America. With a frisbee for a shield.
My cats are worn out from standing at the screen door and being impossibly cute and crying, CRYING to come out and join the fun this evening. I started rubbing Pumpkin's haid and she curled tighter to avoid it and tucked her head into Loki's butt. And he didn't even flinch. Or move.
Burrell, sorry I didn't say this earlier, but I'm so sorry about your sister. I just saw Beep me.
