Librarian Warlord

Our preparations for tonight started with a stop by Holli's store, where she was face painting all the kids who stopped by for free. My dragon is even more dragon-y!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was typically interested in the idea of cellphones with curved screens when I clicked on this WSJ video review but now I'm preoccupied by how much I want the tech reporter's job. She's AWFUL. She says nothing, but with a lot of words. Literally SMH at her.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Finally saw the worker's comp appointed orthopedist and got my doctor's note for desk work for the next four weeks, yay! I was starting to get worried that since I ditched the cane that I would get rushed back to hauling wheelbarrows.

A coworker has been trying to get a communal soup-lunch going, and I felt bad for her letting me eat a small cup of her delicious Thanksgiving Everyday from King's yesterday. So I dropped twenty on two large soups from the same grocery store, then felt like a jerk because she wasn't in today. But it still hit the spot and we had a party of three on a cold rainy day with Beef & Barley and another tub of TE and yummy bread.

I was gonna wear my pirate outfit when I got into work, but totally forgot, even though it was sitting right there in my passenger seat.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No trick or treaters yet, even though it's full dark. It's a bit rainy, but not so much you'd think we'd get a couple.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The rain is supposed to let up by trick or treating time. I hope it stops soon, as I want to get a picture of Grumpy Pumpkin all lit up.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Flicked a stinkbug off my laptop.

It took a minute, but, yep, there's that fragrance. And then the little shit went and landed on my elbow.

I was all in a tizzy thinking that Welcome to Night Vale aired on the 15th and 30th, and there was no new podcast. Oh, it's tomorrow. Wah.

I can't find my tiara, so I'm wearing my lacy garden hat instead. Still no kids, though.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm dressed as a Hogwarts professor. So, y'know, my regular clothing with my new enormous witch hat and a wand.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I didn't manage to come up with a wand, so my witch/Hogwart's student costume is a Gryffindor jersey and jeans.
