"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think that's what causes me to get ill whenever I eat pepperoni.

How are you with beef jerky (or any jerky)?

Because books.

Oh, I can't even touch salt and vinegar chips, and the kids love them. Even worse was a British friend I used to work with. When we'd go out for fish and chips at one of the pubs near the office, she drowned her fish in vinegar, so heavily that I had to lean away from the table.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I love vinegar! But I do have intermittent egg ick. But I really love good eggs Benedict.

There is something in iced Chai that makes me insanely anxious. Not caffeine, because I drink a lot of caffeine.

My BFF cannot deal with cinnamon or rosemary

Automatic mortgage payment on new mortgage is established. Applied cash back to principal. Big paranoia gone. Reveling in not paying mortgage this month (it will be applied to installing working garage door rather than principal.)

Yay managing grownup finances!

Just fine, I eat it as a snack fairly regularly. I know pepperoni is seasoned with cayenne pepper, but I used to eat cajun food all the time without any nausea, so I doubt that could be it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is it too early to start hating on August?

Punishingly Intricate

No hating on August! (aka my birthday month)

I do not like sweet pickles very much but I love all other pickles! I did a big batch of quickles a few weeks ago that I need to finish eating. And I want to quickle the fennel I got at the market last weekend.

Sweet pickles are nasty, but everything else Yum

I vote for quick August turnaround.

I'm weirdly sad July is gone. It's my birthday month and back in NM, was the onset of my favorite (pre-swimmer) season- the monsoon. Thunderstorms every day. August meant school started. It's a little different out here.

I'll get to NM later this month at least.

LOVE SWEET PICKLES.

I used to hate savory but got over that. However, sweet fridge pickles are my swedish grandma. I make and eat them and she's there in all her difficultness. Makes me happy.
