I currently have two umbrellas in my office and one in my apartment. I should be covered, given that I generally won't carry one unless it's actively raining when I'm heading out. They are all crappy, though.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
But Jesse and t-, you both have actual weather. Granted, it's been overcast and rainy-ish here for the past two days. But LA doesn't get enough rain to justify a nice umbrella.
Blargh.
The nice thing about the lost and found at work is the new unmbrellas that I get to pilfer. I feel bad that I put a cigarrette burn somehow into my Monet umbrella. And the golf umbrella I borrowed from work leaks like a sieve during an actual downpour, which makes sense, since we would have gotten the cheapest one we could afford.
I do get a fair amount of use from my parasol. Portable shade is the bomb.
I do think the WWF one is about to fall apart, but I have one from a defunct theatre company and another from a lost & found sitting in my closet.
I have coveted a parasol for a while.
I really shouldn't post on an LJ community post about my employer, right?
I was going to ask what you were going to post, but really, I'll go with the flat "probably not".
Yeah, I was starting to respond not as an employee (I have general thoughts about the issue raised), and then I thought maybe I could respond as an employee, and then decided not to. But I had to type something somewhere! You're welcome.
I'd only if it were clarification of facts that would be privy outside the office as well. Internal scuttlebutt, even if not proprietary, naw. That's for friends. And never as a spokesperson for your employer.
