I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I had a non talk with Ed about concerns about boss lady that I wouldn't give him the specifics of yet, because I wanted the chance to address them directly with her like a mature adult first. But I wanted to give him a heads up that there was discontentment and would go to him next if I'm not able to resolve it and have it known that there are issues. Which led him to say "speaking of which". Seems he's a little nervous about where her loyalties lie in respect to the org and the recently fired DD. Not good.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Happy Birthday Aurelia!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Happiest of b-days, Aurelia!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I have completed an onerous task by making a phone call to tell customer support, "Yo, dog, it's been 20 days and you still haven't refunded my money."

And now I am being refunded. I should've called earlier, but I think the customer support person was glad I wasn't yelling at her because it was a lot of money.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The ones I have from Banana Republic, for example, are mid-rise.

I have mid-rise boot cut BR jeans that I have to wear with a belt. The Lucky ones are a win for me because their medium rise stays above my panty line at all times.

I posed a question in Tech about Hamachi - if anyone know anything about it - please to help.

It took eons for orange to become a trendy color in my lifetime, and now that it is, I want it to stop, because that's my color, damnit.

I'm annoyed at trends that make it hard to find boot-cut pants and blunt-toed shoes. The search for women's shirts with a long torso seems to be a lost cause.

I'm glad I can find Gloria Vanderbilt jeans again, they seem to fit my hips and waist quite well. Lee and Levi do okay but I can never remember which cut is the one that works for me and have to try on everything available. I suspect that my One True Jean is still out there untried on because I don't even know where to look for the pricey brands. Some day I'll make a quest of it.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Today I drew the last artwork assignments for the project that's occupied the majority of my waking hours for the past 15 months. Feels very good to be done (barring any last minute revisions by the client during review)! I celebrated by picking up a crawfish po' boy on the way home, and my cats are celebrating with a canned salmon dinner in their new metal dual feeding dish, which heads off them begging me for the aforementioned crawfish po' boy..
