I like skinny jeans, just not on me. I definitely do adjust my tates to the trends somewhat...I have straight and boot leg pants in my closet that seems practically like flares now.

I am in a big phase of wearing dresses with leggings, often t-shirt dresses. Mainly because it looks presentable for work while feeling like I am wearing pajamas.

My wardrobe is made of about 85% Just My Size floral or whatever Graphic Print Tees and jeans with the winter addition of sweatshirts.

I love that ankle pants exist, because I can buy petite ankle pants and not have to hem them to make them fit my shorter than petite legs. So convenient! And not quite as resort-y looking, uaually, as when I try that with what are supposed to be capris.

I am currently trying to shop for Casper, and argh! Lands End has like one pant style for girls right now, and they've very low rise skinnies. And of course they are sold out in her size (14 slim) anyway. Clothing companies that make clothes for kids should stock all the sizes all the time! She FIT into her pants a month ago when everyone was doing back to school shopping! Shopping for tween clothes is the worst.

Can't she just wear grownup clothes at this point?

How tall is she, flea? My problem with Sara is that she's mostly a 12, but she's not super tall, so pants are always long on her. And then I remind myself she's still nine, so.

whenever I am not finding what I like at a department store, I move to the older person section. Thus, I buy Lee jeans at JCP in the Misses section. I figure I am only a year or two away from just taking the elastic waist pant coordinates from my grandmother's closet. Only kinda kidding.

Burrell, I get my boot cut, don't-need-a-belt jeans at Lucky (thanks for the hookup, Kat--still buying the same style you helped me with oh so long ago). They have a decent range of styles, and none of the others look halfway decent on me. I tried Banana Republic boot cut, and they again weren't me, which makes me think that between them there's a fair range. I think one pair cost over $80, the rest were $79 and down. Way more than I'd ever thought to pay on jeans, but they do look proportionally better on me, so...

I should try on a pair of skinny jeans, but I can't imagine owning them. I feel pretty confident that the waistband will show much crack when I bend on most styles.
