That Halloween prank would have made me crap my pants. I'm not even kidding.
Me too! Imagining just turning around and seeing that flying at me - I wouldn't realize what it was immediately. Hell, I once looked up and saw a hawk flying directly at me; it startled me, and it took a second for my brain to process what I was seeing as "that is a hawk".
Question for my Halloween costume: I'm going as a 70's Disco Babe. I have a dress, but am wondering if I should wear pantyhose. Not tights. And if so, "suntan" or black?
Suntan. Black seems more 80s.
I'm trying to figure out how to get my sprained ankle to read as a peg leg.
Wear a boot and wrap kraft paper around it?
Tomorrow I will be feathering my hair for the first time since 1986. And wearing blue eyeshadow. FEAR ME!
Looks like b.org needs a jump start today!
Today my Rule of 5 things: Clean bathroom floor
Put away clean laundry
Sweep office (again)
Change cat box
Clean fridge
I also have to buy suntan hose, butter and lemon juice, and booze, because I am making a lemon bundt cake to take to the Halloween party.
I was just thinking that I need to make a To Do List for the day/weekend. Mine does not involve bundt cake or pantyhose. However, learning the Cups cup sequence is on the list.
And, in brains are weird news, I woke up this morning with a song in my head that I haven't listened to or thought of in weeks.
In all honesty, mine rarely involves pantyhose or cake.
I've had the "WTF is this song doing in my head?" thing happen upon rising. It's very annoying.
I made bread last night, which makes for a rather delicious breakfast! I need to finish up with File All The Papers, which means corralling the last bits, getting them in matching boxes placed conveniently on shelves.
At least this is a song I like reasonably well, so I'm not too put out.
I think I shall begin with coffee.
I'll be making zucchini bread tomorrow, and visiting with some college friends who live out of state.
My house (and brain) are slowly shaping up from out of the black dog lethargy, and everything I accomplish makes me a little bit happier.
