Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Best Halloween idea ever.

Also, had to tell boss lady that I didn't like being called her minion. Then I found out after that she'd already been given a stern talking to about just that by a colleague. I'm not impressed that she still continued with that mindset. Lady, you're my boss, but this is also your first job in this field, and I've been doing it for 12 years. We're partners, please don't lump me with unpaid intern, and while you're at it, stop disrespecting the intern as well. That word means more than you think it does.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I rocked Ikea or Death, 16/20. Pun absolutely intended. I am a casual fan of both, of course.

Thinking of you and your family, Burrell.

And a wandering father and son lawn maintenance team just came by and took care of my yard in exchange for money. Score! I was gonna have to do that tomorrow and was not looking forward to it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't get how people can reach shoe equilibrium. I'm kind of grateful that monk shoes are so damned expensive, because that limits me to creeper lust for the moment. Creepers are way more practical with more of my wardrobe, but...want them ALL.

And clearly, browsing fashion blogs/mags is no good for me. First I get critical about my closet, and then I get obsessed with fixing it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Burrell, all courage and strength to you, ease and comfort to your sister, and peace to your family.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Man, I love a good monk-strap shoe. On any gender. And my feets.
