Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I made that chickpea soup that JZ linked to here or in Natter, and it was good. I'll probably add carrots the next time I make it, but I like futzing with recipes.
Dale Earnhardt Jr just won the Daytona 500 and I'm kinda emotional. He was totally Dad's driver. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about racing this year.

You might be thinking of Dale Earnhardt who died at that race in 2001.
Junior has been racing in the series since 2000. Never retired.
Huh, I saw a headline today or yesterday about Earnhardt and Danica.
It was Richard Petty.
It was Richard Petty.

Much like Richard Petty and his iconic image of the ornate cowboy hat and sunglasses. Given that it's a business first and a sport second, marketing matters. She brings viewers.
I know that feeling so well Cass, that bittersweet feeling of sharing something with someone who is gone. I'm glad your dad's guy won.
I am feeling ugh. I was totally having a good weekend food-wise, then things got needlessly stressful and here I am downing candy and pretending to grade.
that bittersweet feeling of sharing something with someone who is gone.
It was exactly this.
