It was supposed to rain today. So, mom still came to take me to my iron infusion. In the 20 minutes that it took us to drive from the hospital to my house, 2 inches of snow has fallen. She may end up as an overnight guest if it doesn't stop soon.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I am Steph.
I am Steph.
We even have dog clones!
I immediately jump to thinking any tooth issue is a cracked tooth that will have to be pulled.
I had a chip filed on this one last May. But since it's the filling that is falling apart, I'm not surprised I had trouble with it again. Relieved it's way easier to fix and I keep the tooth.
We had six inches of snow here last week and today I have all the windows open. And in another week and half they're talking about another round of snow. I think I'll just toss every article of clothing that I own on the floor in the spare bedroom and pick from there with the aid of weather.com and a Ouija board every morning, because clearly seasonal rotation of my closets is not an effective habit.
Aw Glamcookie, what a mess!
I had a similar circumstance when I was a kid. Three families, (two single moms, one married couple) and eight daughters between them. My mom was the one who didn't have an affair with the married dad. We were older than y'alls kids so a lot more aware (I'd think) of how messed up it was.
My take-away is that some people are so selfish and entitled and oblivious that they'll do whatever they darn well please and expect everyone else to be happy for them. Whether they have innies or outies seems to be immaterial.
Yeah, we got 5 inches Friday, and today it's 50, so I walked the dog. Although that was a bit short-sighted of me; I assumed that, because the sidewalks on our end of the street were finally clear, ALL the sidewalks all the way up to the school would be clear. Not so much. So we walked in the street a lot, which is fine, because we're a side street with not a ton of traffic. But it was messy, and by the time we got back, when I dried off Kato's feet, his back legs were shaking. So he got his usual post-walk treat of a dog biscuit along with an extra "treat" of an anti-inflammatory pill in some peanut butter.
And now I am eating split pea soup, which is my new soup BFF.
I am also Teppy and Brenda, here every time a tooth hurts I assume it's about to fall apart, split in two, and require costly dental visits.
Whoa. In other random small lesbian world stuff; I looked at (and was subsequently emailed by) a girl on OkCupid who listed her location as Merced. She said in her email she's actually in Chicago at the moment, but moving in a few weeks. We emailed a couple times and discovered we both used to live in DC. Come to find out, from 2004-2007? WE LIVED IN THE SAME BUILDING.
Crossing paths always fascinate me. DH#2 and I both went to Virginia Commonwealth Univ in Richmond at the same time but never knew each other and met a decade later in Florida. Then DH#3 and I were both members of and frequent users of the same gym in Fort Lauderdale years before we met in school. Never saw each other at the gym.
