Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad Nathaniel's fever is gone. I hope he's home and fairly healthy soon.

Last night I dreamed that I ate hemlock (which looked like fir branches in my dream), decided it was a bad idea, and threw them up again. It was vivid enough that when I woke up I checked the sheets to make sure nothing had actually come up. Anyway, my dreams aren't usually so vivid. Or visceral.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Beth, continued ~ma to Nathaniel.

Calli, that is quite a dream.

I had to cancel both afternoon plans and evening plans today thanks to the snow. I'm done with this winter. I guess I should be happy none of my doctor's appointments were for today.

I am feeling very full of gronk today. Not sure why, just....really don't want to deal, in a sad/grumpy mood, etc. It's disturbing me because I don't know why, and don't have anything pressing or dramatic going on. I feel seriously avoidant, but I don't even know what I'm avoiding, which is making me feel paranoid I'm forgetting something important...oy!!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I thought I was caught up at work from being out two weeks ago. No, THIS week is turning into catch up week. I'm slammed and have no motivation which is making it all expoentially harder.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry for the out of sorts people. I offer distraction. So I ordered both these tops because I couldn't decide. They both appealed to me for different reasons. One I shall wear Saturday to my Groovy 60s Birthday party with jeans and appropriate footwear and flowers in my hair and stuff. Note my hair is not nearly as lovely as the models but will be braided by SIL.

Hubby losing his hair has introduced me to a whole new crop of scars. The one in his eyebrow? Rifle blowing up (also the cause of the scars on his chin and cheekbone). The one at the top of his forehead? Saber (he got the other guy in the neck. Hey, they were wearing goggles! And all the teacher said was "This isn't Heidelberg!"). The ones on the sides and back? Fire helmet that got melted to his head.
