My interview yesterday went pretty well, I think. But they're interviewing several other people, and they'll probably do pretty well, too. I'll find out in a few weeks whether I got the job.
Now I'm looking at getting back to PA. It looks like my flight from Chicago to Detroit will probably fly, but then the one from Detroit to PA is less certain.
So Mich for my nice snowy day off. Looks like I'm going to get called into work.
Google's Valentine's day doodle is up, each candy heart tells a story.
I loved those snippets, AND the synergy of Ira Glass joining up with Google.
I especially loved his closing comment. "Happy Valentine's Day from...The Internet!"
I have a feeling that is where a LOT of people get their validation, appreciation, etc. Much as I sometimes quake at the impact of technology on the human soul, other times, it makes me so happy.

My actual diploma came today! Cue the tears of amazement, pride, and disbelief.
