Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

When I saw the bit about the horns my first though was "Vikings shed their horns like antlers?"

Well, good. Then they'll grow back. Probably take longer than the hair to come back, but that's ok.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I remember posting a reply to Teppy's post above, and now I don't see it anywhere. I'm a little paranoid of where I may have posted it.

Go, Teppy! That is a lot to get done when you're still feeling lousy, imho. I hope your day continues to improve.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I'm watching the video of Nye/Ham debate. Every time they show the audience, I keeps searching for Aims. No luck.

I'm not sure Nye did a great job in the debate. He seemed a bit all over the place. Ham seemed to say "science and creationism live together, see (show example)". After watching it, I'm a little confused, what exactly where they debating in the creationism/evolution debate?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ugh. My schedule is all thrown off. My friend Kris and I got home at 5 this morning after a 7.5 hour drive home last night. But the debate was awesome. We ended up hooking up with my (gay) friends Jenn and Kate and sat with them. It was a great time.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

They were supposed to be debating whether or not creationism is a viable model for origins. But at no point did they define viable - though there was a lot of talk about defining "science" and "Literally". The latter cracked me up.

Our wings are not tired.

"Literally", as in from literature, as in The Bible, therefore we were created exactly as the bible says and don't try and teach otherwise.

I've only seen Bill being interviewed afterwards so only guessing at the above.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm so pleased you got to go, Aims. Try and stay awake until your normal bedtime then crash hard. That works best for me when I do the all night thing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That's about right.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yes, smonster, should be better, but not in time to fix the most critical dental drama.Next time should be easier, though which is something.(And I wish my father would help me out, without, like, operant conditioning.LisaH, I wish you could have somebody at Hopkins write "Huge Risk of Cancer For Selfish" and spread it around. I want to smite an old friend who routinely posts Bible updates.(Well, okay, maybe not 'smite' but I want to talk to *you*, not the Thessalonians) And I think she does that cause she knows I know there was a time when she and the LORD had a far more open relationship, even though I don't care about upsetting her poky little apple cart.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Ahahaha, my job for the nuns? They are asking me to *lie* to their vendor on their behalf. (They want to do the newsletter as an email version and a print version; the printing company can't handle the email job, and the email company wants to charge too much to do the printing. So the nuns want to keep it separate, and they asked me to contact the email company to make sure I have all the tech specs right...and to not mention the fact that there will also be a print version. Oh, ladies. What would St. Angela say???)
