Do you feel jittery and low energy at the same time? I sometimes get a mixture of jitters and low energy when my blood sugar is high.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Do you feel jittery and low energy at the same time?
Oh, no. This is run-a-marathon speed-freaky jitters. I'm going to the gym as soon as I finish my onerous task of scheduling a sushi-making class. I'm hoping the jitters will burn off like booze on a flambe.
Teppy, I get that way sometimes before an anxiety attack. Try not to push yourself too hard at the gym until you're sure it won't make it worse.
I'm having one of those days where I'm jittery as hell, despite only one cup of coffee and no jitter-causing meds or anything.
Ooo, girl. That is so not fun.
The Hematologist said my iron wasn't that low, but the levels are headed downward based my previous blood work. So, I'm going to get iron infusions once a week for the next 5 weeks. My calendar for the next month is already filled with Dr.'s appointments because I decided to have the 2nd attempt at cyst removal done at the hospital, which means I have to do a pre-op and post-op with my doctor, on top of the IVF informational appointment I already have scheduled with him. And I have an appointment with my PCP because all my prescriptions are about to expire. This should be fun.
We're going out with TCG's dad and stepmom tonight, and I predict a cosmopolitan or two in my future.
Sorry for the brain dump. I have doctor anxiety, and right now I feel like doctor's appointments are my whole life.
Totally understandable sj. I don't remember if you have done iron infusions in the past. I have found them to be very effective. It is just the time sitting there that is annoying.
Good luck with dinner tonight.

I did have them in the past, and it was 3 times a week for several months last time. So, this should be much easier. It wasn't that bad other than the waiting and my vein issues.
sj, that is a lot of doctor visits, but would it help your doctor anxiety at all if you framed it as something you're doing for yourself? Clearly not as good as a trip to the spa, but I still consider getting myself to the doctor to be a form of self-care.

I did about half an hour on the elliptical, and I think I've burned off some of the jitters. I'm going to take a hot shower and then maybe hot chocolate with booze in it and see how I feel. I got some movies at the library (Anchorman, The Losers), neither of which we've seen, because we are always hideously behind with movie-watching, so I think we'll chill out with movies tonight. Hopefully that'll get the jitters gone.
I predict you will have great fun watching the Losers, Teppy.
