I only mention the newness because it is one of the reasons she's so upset. That, and she is at fault. She slid and rear ended another car. The person in the other car wasn't hurt either.
'War Stories'
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I get it. Didn't mean to sound flippant, though now that I read back I was.
I may have found someone to go see Mama Mia with me. My friend who had thyroid surgery last week thinks she may be up for a night out next week. It would be her first night out and my last for a while.
No, not flippant at all.
That sucks, sj. The last car wreck we had was my fault and I felt horrible about it although no one was hurt.
Enjoy, Suzi!
I thought this was going to be a busy night at the bookstore because there were people here when I first opened, but it has mostly been a slow night. Probably too cold for people to want to go out.
I'm getting all antsy with waiting to hear back from the jobs I interviewed for. I am really not good at waiting. (And I know that, even if I do hear back, it'll either be a rejection or an invitation for an on-campus interview, which will mean even more waiting. And then possibly a job.)
Hil, I really hope you find something good and soon.
Suzi, I hope you have a lovely time!
sj, I'm glad your mom is ok.
I'm having one of those days where I'm jittery as hell, despite only one cup of coffee and no jitter-causing meds or anything. And my left arm is twitching. Really weird. I feel like a speed freak right now. And it's making it really hard to concentrate on editing.
That sounds unpleasantly wacky, Teppy.
