I made my PCP appointment and dealt with a rejection email (not that I had a real choice to do that, but it felt onerous).
I have discovered that my sweet Marley's expensive medical tests have shown he is in perfect health, which is great news, but still leaves us stymied about why his appetite has decreased dramatically.
Any ideas? we've changed foods, washed bowls, tried to feed him in different places (he and Taz have to eat separately or Taz eats both meals, he's been in the office with the door shut for the past 3+ years.) He WILL eat bits of kibble I place on the ground in front of him, 2 or 3 pieces at a time.
At this point, I'm going to try serving his kibble on a flat plate, and then try other food.
I just feel like he's trying to tell us something, and I just can't figure out what! All other behaviors and digestive function are totally normal.
Could it be a dental issue?
Hubby's home and sending me odd emails, so that's good. And he's done for the week. And the next two weeks.
Nope, the vet looked at his teeth quite thoroughly, pronounced them as awesome and perfect.
Glad Hubby's home and won't have to go back for a little bit.
Thinking of you both.
Happy birthday, beautiful Windsparrow!
Have a very lovely, happy birthady, Windsparrow!
Not surprisingly, blowfish extract makes the arm hurt a lot when it's injected. So Hubby is napping with the cats.
Joe still wishes we could just go in and get in the offender's face, but he sees the problem in that kind of scenario.
Yeah, that's something that could be done back in the 70s, but not now. (Why yes, my dad did exactly that the one time I was picked on in school. It was effective, I'll certainly give him that.)
Ah, the halcyon '70s. Who loves ya, baby?
My grandmother once came out on the porch and chewed out the neighbor kids who'd been picking on me. It was worse than the teasing. And boy-howdy did it inspire more teasing.
