This discussion is making me want to make tots and sausage gravy for dinner tonight. (Tots are my substitute for biscuits because most of the time I am too lazy to make GF biscuits. And holy crap, are tots good with sausage gravy. I mean REALLY.)

My local restaurant has sweet potato tater tots with bacon aioli dipping sauce
This I think I could get behind, but tater tots as a rule are not my thing.

There's a food truck in the next town over that fries tater tots in duck fat. Thank goodness it's not in this town or I'd never stop eating them. So good!

I had those when I visited!! They were NOM, and I am generally meh about tots.
