Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I hope the medical stuff goes as well as possible, Ginger.

Tonight I'm rewatching S2 Sherlock, in preparation for the next season. A couple of friends will be joining me. Tomorrow I'll be going to my upstairs neighbor's annual New Year's brunch. I think I've been going to this for over 10 years now, and I've enjoyed watching various friends' families grow up along the way.

I may be doing something fairly epic for NYE. Or it could fall through. I'll pretty much not know until the last minute... and I reserve the right to be all NYE LIKES CARROTS for a few days if this goes off.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Calli, don't forget to light amyth's Summoning Candle. And have fun! I miss A's parties and watching things with y'all.

On the ground in St. Louis, waiting for a gate. Hungry! I hope I have time to grab something.

I have only had one truly special New Year's. And every year I'm like "I'm gonna try new things!" and mostly end up cutting my hair and decorating my rut. But I have found that people take me a bit more seriously as a redhead. Oh, and vegatarian korma is good the first day, but hardens alarmingly as a leftover.

Alright, so I WON'T be VIP for Fall Out Boy in Times Square tonight. That's alright. Whatever DOES one wear when it's no degrees and a billion people are watching?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Aw, too bad, Trudy. That would have been epic.

This is the first NYE/NYD we've both had off (I'd usually work NYE, M would usually open at 6 a.m. NYD), so our plans are up in the air tonight, but we'll start at 6 a.m. tomorrow, listening to a friend's band and eating black-eyed peas and other tasty noshes.

I need to do some sort of ritual tonight. Put candles in all my skull candle holders and burn some incense, maybe.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Watching the ball fall and counting along with NYC is the closest thing I have to a NYE ritual. My sensible BFF will be in bed at a decent hour as she has to work tomorrow. My neighbors in this tiny 'hood like to set off fireworks to celebrate everything, so that'll be fun to watch.

I bought a couple mimosas-in-a-can at World Market. I'll drink those for NYE and hopefully they're not awful.

I've hit up the grocery store and have some snacks for the kids tonight. Apparently CJ told them it was BYOS (bring your own snack) so I didn't get too much. Not really sure what they want/are bringing drink wise. I have water, root beer, and sparkling cider. If anything with a proof comes into the house, I'm kicking some ass. I've already had a couple of parents check in with me about how much I'll be watching over them.

I'm "working" today. Which basically means I'm checking e-mail and not doing anything unless there is an urgent need. I may end up with a couple of billable hours.

We miss having you here, too. And . . . Summoning Candle? If I light a candle does amyth show up? Great for us, but the dog she's sitting in NYC might be a bit bummed.
