Health~Ma for Connie's hubby.

Bank~ma for ND! How'd it go with the banker dude?

Erin, glad to hear there is good news with your health!

Sean, how you doing, buddy? The weather has been amazing this week, here in SoCal. I hope you got a lot of walks in. Getting out of the house. Breathing clean(ish) air. And looking for work, all along the major streets near your house. Any progress??

Yay Hil! Fingers crossed!

Ugh, had a horrible day Monday and more awful dealings with the same people today. They're not doing their job, and when I pointed that out (which is my job) they found a thing I did which I probably shouldn't have (though in most cases it wouldn't have been a big issue, it's bigger in their case, and I mostly did it because they weren't doing their job...) and fired back at me about that (to deflect the whole "we aren't getting shit done" thing, an now I'm all stressed and freake out. And I was in a room with flickering light and I think I'm getting a headache. And I want to change my Christmas flight so I'm actually home one or two of the days I'm on vacation but don't want to disappoint my BFF who I'm currently scheduled to do New Years with. Sigh.

Just got back now. I think it went well. I had an hour meeting with the Branch Manager. It's small bank and I really like it, and the staff. He spent a lot of time getting to know what my business actually is. I have a few more financial things I need to get to him for Phase 1 of the process and then we go from there. No way to know what the outcome will be. It's a business line of credit that I'm trying to get set up.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Fingers crossed, ND.

Connie, I am glad that hubby is out and grumpily refusing help. I hope the results on the 30th point to the easiest, most effective treatment options.

That's a sucky part of having to deal with underperforming or bad co-workers, they want to take you down with them.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Sinuses are stupid. And painful. I know that I can feel marginally better if I use my steam inhaler with some eucalyptus oil, but I'm not sure that the effort of setting it up is worth the marginally better I'll feel.

I feel you, Hil. This Sunday, I wanted to rip them out of my face.

I already took some Sudafed, and just added some Tylenol and used the steam inhaler for a little while. Sleep was just not happening with my sinuses like this. BreatheRight strips would help, too, but I can't find them.

Jersey City is big enough that it should have a fair selection of vegan gluten free takeout for when you don't feel like cooking or driving. (Vegan pretty much is kosher unless you insist on the "blessed by a Jew,untouched by Goy" part, true?)
