I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Being able to blend both the creative aspects of your job with the business shenanigans is totally beyond my realm of comprehension.

Jeebus. So much this.

Erin, I'm so glad for you! May this be a giant leap to strength and health.

Good luck, ND!

The very best possible outcome ~ma headed Hubby of Connie's way.

I assiduously avoid troll baiting online because...you know, fruitless.

This morning, I could not restrain myself and I think I may have, for one brief shining moment, stemmed the tide of bile. It doesn't even qualify as a flicker in the Cosmos, but dammit, it's not nothing.

A video of Bella the dog who eats standing up...one of quite a few floating around...started getting all sorts of ugly comments from super ignorant...well, you know the type.

Against my better judgment, I responded and then someone came back with, "Well that makes sense, but to avoid misunderstandings, it (meaning the pooch's medical condition) should be explained in the title of the video."

Seriously? The spoon-fed culture makes me weep for my kind.

I responded that people could give the humans the benefit of the doubt and maybe take the 5 seconds I took to google to learn all you need to know about the situation before jumping to criticism.

In the overall scheme of things, meaningless. To me, a minor victory.

He's out of surgery, currently in the restroom by himself, refusing help from anyone smaller and female. The surgeon said the lymph node looked nasty, four by three centimeters. We'll know the particular breed of lymphoma on the 30th.

It's a great comfort knowing the great span of the Buffistas is out there.

It's wonderful to hear that he's motoring on his own, and now the even BIGGER healing ~ma is on the way. Bless your heart, Connie. You are both in my thoughts.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sniff, sniff. Darn allergies.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I have a job interview! It's not my top-choice job, but it's one where I do think I'd be happy. They said that I'm one of their top candidates.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's not my top-choice job, but it's one where I do think I'd be happy.

Is it in a good geographic location for you? Closer to a big city than you are now?
