But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ugh, poor Pix! I hope the crutches aren't too unwieldy.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm going to keep a good thought Daniel, that the former employer doesn't even think of appealing your UI.

Download the latest version of open office. Paste into open office draw. Export as SVG. Older version of open office draw did not do vectors but I think the last two or three versions do.

Awesome! Thank so much Typo.

Pix, I'm so sad for you...both for the actual injury and for the insult of not being able to meet the NY goal.

I hope whatever the problem is, is healed quickly and completely.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Pix. I hope you heal quickly!

I'm glad you have unemployment, DCJ.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Quick healing for Buffista feet and butts.

DCJ, may your employer not be the asshole you fear they will.

I'm awake, in bed, surrounded by sleeping cats. I wish my laptop were here. Then I wouldn't have to get up. Except for food and caffeine. Ah well.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tim's niece emailed me to ask if I could do a little editing on her final paper for her honors project (it's a physics paper, so I told her I could wrangle the grammar and punctuation, but content-wise, I wouldn't know if her paper was about a death ray or cold fusion) (I hope it's a death ray).

Anyway, she started the email with "Hello, Aunt Steph!"

There may have been some tears.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Anyway, she started the email with "Hello, Aunt Steph!"

There may have been some tears.

Isn't it a lovely feeling?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Awww, yay.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

awwwww

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So sweet.

Do parents or otherwise have suggestions for books on grieving pets / pet loss. Maybe aged seven ish. Hivemind, help?
