I can't believe this isn't covered in the contract.
That's just IT! It is outlined in the agreement that each contractor takes responsibility for what happens when an animal is in their care.
I spoke to the biter's owner and found out that they had taken the dog to visit the boarder and her dog the week prior and that everyone had gotten along fine. So, the boarder knew, understood, and welcomed the dog into her home!!
PLUS, I went back into my files and discovered that this same employee had asked us to pay her under the table in October.
Shay-dee.
If your animal is bitten by another, it's reasonable to hope that the vet bills would be covered. But if you willingly had them in the same place, you have to know it's a risk.
Overstock.com just sent me a wine rack. Well, to my address, not my name or my order. And it's not cost effective for them to have me return it according to their chat assistance. Free wine rack and a clear conscious.
Huh. And it's kind of a nice wine rack at that.
I have a massive sinus headache that will not go away, no matter how much medication and steam I send at it. And I'm sick of swallowing pills.
I think I need to move to LA. That's the only place I can remember ever being where my sinuses were OK.

Absolutely. I'd assume this as well. I would NOT assume that lame attempts at extortion would prevail.

Shady is right. This is absolutely a 50/50 situation, or should be.
Let me note for the record that I made so much less drama when a dog bit ME.

Right there with you. I know it's just my head being a barometer in front of the Massive! Death! Storm! on its way, but it's making me sick to my stomach. And if it doesn't go away, it'll turn into a migraine.

Is that Los Angeles LA or Louisiana LA? If it's Los Angeles, were you here during Santa Ana wind conditions? Because those can kill my sinuses. Just saying.
