It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It took about an hour to get the bleeding to stop last night, but it finally did, thanks to the tea bag trick (biting on a damp tea bag -- the tannins in black tea make blood vessels constrict and it slows/stops bleeding). It's still okay this morning, but he called the periodontist and they want to see him this afternoon anyway, which I think is a good thing.

That was...fairly freaky.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad it's better, but, yeah. Lots of blood from almost any orifice can be pretty scary.

Our wings are not tired.

It is good to hear it stopped the bleeding. May there be cake later to celebrate a good follow up visit.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or, considering Tim's mouth, ice cream? something soft and soothing.

Best wishes for his mouth being all right.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Make a cake milkshake!

Sure. With frosting!

My goal for today is not to get out of my bathrobe and pajama pants.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My goal for today is not to get out of my bathrobe and pajama pants.

May you succeed brilliantly.

Our wings are not tired.

My goal for today is to finish a cup of coffee without having to nuke it after neglecting it for too long on my desk. I like Zen's goal better.

Now my goal for tonight involves putting a dent in that box of wine.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Erma Bombeck wrote that, too, that she had parties to fix up her house.

Part of the reason I have monthly Bitches' Brunches is so I know the house will get a deep clean once a month. External Motivators Yay!!

Poor Tim! Clotting~ma.

My goal for today is not to get out of my bathrobe and pajama pants.

May the slounge be ever in your favor.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So far I'm succeeding in my goal. However, a total communication fail at work has made me so damn mad I'm about ready to have a drink and call it quits for the day. I'm overreacting and I even know it, but it doesn't matter, I've done my job and I don't think I've pissed off more than one person, and no one can see me stalking around and cursing.
